About you and this role

Production and Coordination of P&IDs and related documentation for the site executed projects, Large Projects and Mega Programs in accordance with design & engineering standards, tools & procedures, schedule and budget, with a continuous focus on quality standards. 

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Manage the resources assigned to the respective region on day basis and execute the tasks effectively. Collaborate with all stakeholders across all the sites in the region effectively for superior results.

• Coordination of the overall operation of Design and Drafting activities of P&ID Team and the high quality and timely completion of their work within the schedule & budget hours

• Developing Piping & Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) according to the work process. Analysis of the project specifications, the customer requirements and include them in the preparation of the P&ID.

• Defines project P&IDs requirements, schedules of activities and resources.

• Preparation and managing of Reports from the Tool. Is responsible that all comments from Hardware disciplines are consistent, understood and correctly represented in the P&IDs by the P&IDs Designers.

• Manages interfaces with all stakeholders and design team(s). Mentoring and coaching of P&ID Designers working on the project, to promote their professional growth.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Diploma / Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering is required.

• Min 10 years of drafting experience in P&IDs.

• Played a Lead role managing a Team of Designers for at least 2 – 3 years.

• Highest level of proficiency in tools (SPPID, MicroStation Power draft & AutoCAD).

• In Depth Knowledge on SPP&ID & MicroStation Reports.
