About the Role

Position Objective:
—Manage alternative investment cases, and compliance with both internal and external regulations and requirements.
—Achieve alternative investment objectives through continuous formulating and implementing investment strategy according to changes in market environment and dynamics and approved by Non Standard Product Investment Head.
—Constantly review and refine alternative investment process in accordance with changing local regulatory and AIA requirements.
—Assist Non Standard Product Investment Head in developing investment strategy and account management in order to support the businesses’ sustainable growth.
—Maintain a good and close relationship with both external and internal AIA China AMC’s counterparties and other third-party professionals in order to capture investment opportunities and facilitate investment transactions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

—Has responsibility of conducting alternative investments according to relevant investment SOPs, including but not limited to non-standard products and other related products, etc.

— Self-initiate alternative investment projects and develop new applicable instruments for internal fund investment.

—Ensure the achievement of multiple objectives, and prudently follow all requirements of investment mandates, regulations, and compliance.

—Conduct regular and deep research into asset allocation and different assets’ performance in non-standard market within particular economic cycle backdrop. Provide fundamental, quantitative, and strategic analysis on non-standard markets updates to Non Standard Product Investment Head and senior management team, if demanded.

—Review and maintain up-to-date alternative investment procedure and internal rules & regulations.

—Participate in regular alternative investment meetings to explore and discuss market dynamics, opportunities, and outlook.

—Maintain close contacts with major global and domestic IAMC, Investment

Banks, other relevant financial institutions.

Minimum Job Requirements:

—Education：Master degree and graduate from well-known university in China or oversea, major in finance, economic, accounting or business administration is preferred.

—Experience： at least 5 years in alternative investment field. · Professional Qualification – CPA / CFA preferred · Proficiency in MS Office, Bloomberg, Wind, and other professional data tools for alternative investment.

—Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin

—Good communication and interpersonal skill

—Strong research and analytical skill.

—Accountable, efficient, focus, detail oriented, and able to work under pressure. · Great team player.
