AIG’s Operations’ Client Policy Servicing (CPS) team supports the underwriters in its development of insurance solutions that address the exposures of companies and individuals, and embody AIG’s tradition of innovation, bringing to market groundbreaking insurance solutions for our changing world. The CPS unit provides issuance and administrative services to the Business Units.
How you will create an impact (Operations):
Create and/or update clients and create service requests in the system to register all transactions to be processed.
Generate balance and experience reports for policy renewal process.
Book in the applicable system, all documents received from external (Agencies) and internal (Line of Business) clients as per the Underwriter’s instructions and transmittals.
Issue and deliver policies/endorsements processed by CPS and Underwriting according to established procedure.
Process policy maintenance tasks i.e. certificates, cancellation and non-renewal notices, and annulments.
Responsible for the proper filing and completeness of the policy and transaction documentation.
Incumbent must comply with the established Service Level Agreements for issuing tasks and transactions.
Must observe strict adherence to the department’s workflows, procedures and guidelines.
May make recommendations and participates in the implementation of efficiency and process improvement projects.
Responsible of maintaining constant and timely communication with external and internal clients.
What you’ll need to succeed:
Bachelor degree in Business or a related field of study.
This role suits candidates in the early stages of their career or with some experience in the insurance industry or related responsibilities.
Language skill: fluent in English and Spanish
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrates ability to establish effective working relationships with mid level managers and business partners.
Able to plan and prioritize own work.
Analytical skills and detail oriented.
Excellent teamwork skills.
Proficient in the use of MS Office suite products specially Word and Excel.
