Job Description Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will play a critical role in delivering high-quality healthcare services in an employer health clinic and at biometric screening events. This full-time position requires a dedicated and professional LPN to work 16 hours per week at an employer health clinic on set days (Monday and Wednesday 7:30am-4:00pm) and cover biometric screening events on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at various employer locations with daytime hours or at an OhioHealth Employer Solutions clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide comprehensive nursing care and services in an employer health clinic and employer event, ensuring high standards of patient care, safety, and confidentiality.

* Conduct biometric screenings at employer-based events, including vital signs, blood glucose, cholesterol testing, and other wellness assessments.

* Accurately document patient health records and screening results in an electronic medical record.

* Educate and counsel employees on health and wellness topics, promoting healthy lifestyle choices.

* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless service delivery.

* Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability by traveling to various screening locations and adjusting to different work environments.

* Maintain inventory of medical supplies and ensure equipment is functioning properly.

The LPN is accountable for the practice of nursing as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing. The LPN delegates nursing tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs) using the criteria written in the Ohio Nurse Practice Act. This position serves as a resource for other associates. Does not hire, fire, discipline, promote, demote, transfer, or appraise, but may be consulted by higher management in these areas. This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate's Degree (Required)CPR - Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation - American Red Cross, RN - Registered Nurse - Ohio Board of Nursing

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE

Must hold a current license from the State of Ohio. successfully completed Ohio Board of Nursing approved medication course. Basic Life support Provider
