Surgical IOLs Field Trainer CSEE

The Surgical IOLs Field Trainer Export Markets CSEE is responsible for assisting with product training of Third Party Surgical Sales Field Force, and the Alcon internal Team. The Surgical Field Trainer main role is to provide a knowledge model for the external representatives to follow assisting them during field visits related to the Alcon IOLs promotion. It helps to establish a knowledge standard for external sales representatives, assisting in the development of skills and behaviors to help ensure success within the Export Markets in the CSEE cluster.
In this role, a typical day will include:
- Identify training needs to ensure that a high level of product training is maintained for field associates, and offers appropriate training
- Participate in the deployment of Skills training modules (360 and Business Excellence)
- Ensure the organization of training sessions for field associates (remotely and / or face-to face, calendar, etc.)
- Ensure the evaluation and monitoring of the training provided (certifications), in conjunction with the regional training teams.
- Facilitate the integration of new delegates (training, knowledge control and mentoring)
- Supports role plays and field visits to help sales teams to develop, consolidate their learning and make effective use of their training in order to grow the IOLs sales - the objective is being to upgrade the technologies already in place with customers or convert them to Alcon products
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
- Fluency in Croatian and English
- Degree in optometry or ophthalmology desired Significant experience within a core commercial function within the Med Devices, Med-Tech or Life Sciences sectors
- Understanding of surgical sales processes ideally with a background in sales training
- Exposure to marketing in either an operational or training capacity a benefit.
