Position Summary

Leads efforts to sell products direct to utilities (waste water treatment plants), focusing on ongoing customer satisfaction, retention, and growing business. Works closely with Inside Sales Representatives (ISRs) and third-party channel partners to sell all company products and technologies, but the primary focus of the RSR is on direct to owner (“plant level”) sales. Responsible for maintaining relationships with third-party representatives and customers by visiting customer sites within assigned territory, defined by geographic area, industry, or product/service segment. In addition to face-to-face meetings, engage with customers in a variety of mediums to close sales and support customers. Respond to customer inquiries and offer guidance and proposals on appropriate products and services. Must work with a sense of urgency to execute sales strategy, generate sales reports, and identify opportunities to increase sales volume while ensuring service levels are met. This position will cover the US southeast region.

Core Responsibilities and Tasks

•    Works primarily with third-party reps, may work autonomously in close communication with rep
•    Selects products/technologies independently, may need assistance with complex solutions
•    Creates proposals (budget and firm) with little guidance and input, may need assistance with complex solutions
•    Sets schedule for travel and customer visits, with guidance and input         
•    Maintains/updates records in Dynamics(CRM tool)        
•    Continues to stay up to date on company and customer technology to remain a trusted partner        
•    Conducts Sales Presentations and Product Demos        
•    Facilitates new customer engagements (Webinars, Lunch & Learns, Trade Shows, etc.)
•    Sells moderately complex products and services; utilizes developing knowledge of products, services, and industry to recommend best solutions to customers
•    Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

FORMAL EDUCATION: 
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent
4+ years of sales experience
Preferred:
BS/BA in related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience 
    
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
Required: 
•    Strong communication skills
•    Intra-departmental communication for purpose of alignment/information sharing
•    Working understanding of company products and services
•    Utilizes sales techniques effectively, developing familiarity with industry
•    Ability to complete sales with minimal supervision
•    Demonstrates ability to identify & cultivate sales from new &/or existing customers
•    Must have an acceptable driving record to be insurable to drive for company business
•    Basic understanding of ERP and CRM systems
•    Fluency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 50%

Salary range:

$51,500.00 - $82,500.00
