This is a six month contractor role.

What you will do
Reporting to the Finance Director (APAC Retail), the position for Finance Leader for China Retail, is responsible for all aspects of Business Planning, Analytics and Reporting to ensure delivery of business objectives and financial results for the APAC Sensormatic Solutions Vertical Business Unit of Johnson Controls.  

How you will do it
•    Leads the preparation and submission of long-range plan, annual plan, quarterly forecasts, monthly/weekly outlook, monthly ops review, weekly secured/revenue/SINC/Collection tracking, and ad-hoc requirements
•    Early engagement with business on mid/large-sized deals to provide recommendations on financial and commercial aspects, to optimize top-line, margin, and cash objectives
•    Lead China Retail projects and activities to drive finance effectiveness and improve efficiency.  Examples include automation, simplification, leveraging on technological tools where possible and relevant
•    Works with Controllership and FCOE organization to ensure smooth month end closing and accurate/timely financial reporting within prescribed deadlines
•    Leverage on CRM (E3 Salesforce) to support and assist business in forecast, pipelines etc. 
•    Establish & monitor business Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Secured, Revenue, GM, EBIT, FCF, DSO etc.
•    Monitors and tracks costs and expenses, performs actionable analytics to drive required actions to optimize cost structure
•    Drive cash collections and credit control activities
•    Develops & implements processes & models for improving accuracy, timeliness & completeness of financial results & reporting
•    Ensure cost controls is practiced is practiced and monitors, monitor monthly spending within budget levels
•    Perform monthly review of WIP,UBR, GRNI and drive timely resolutions and actions
•    Review monthly review of inventory aging reports and work with business owners to optimized inventory
•    Communicates and works closely with other departments in ensuring the overall company objectives/performance is achieved at all times
•    Support annual external audit, compliance and tax filing where required



What we look for
•    Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is required
•    Minimum 7 years working experience in Finance and Accounting, with 3 years’ experience in FP&A (planning & analytics, business partnership, business decision support, cost management)
•    Self-starter, results-oriented and possesses a can-do attitude
•    Strong and broad-based knowledge and skills appropriate for consultation to various levels of management
•    Sound analytical depth and strong technical accounting skills
•    The ability to influence and lead in driving change in the organization
•    Strategic consulting skills which move beyond adherence to specific analytical tools and methodologies; the ability to “think outside the box,” generate alternative solutions for consideration, and provide comprehensive risk/benefit analysis on those alternatives
•    Project management experience and business consultant skills
•    Excellent oral and written communication skills and advanced presentation skills. Should have ability to listen effectively, evaluate the most critical elements being communicated and communicate with reporting supervisor & team members on an open and timely basis
