Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of applications and their integration with existing systems. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing user requirements, developing code, and troubleshooting application issues. With your expertise in application development, you will contribute to the success of our organization by delivering high-quality solutions. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze user requirements and design applications. - Develop and maintain code for applications, ensuring their smooth functioning and integration with existing systems. - Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance. - Conduct thorough testing of applications to identify and fix any bugs or errors. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, and recommend improvements to enhance application performance and functionality. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in UNIX Shell Scripting. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Linux. - Strong understanding of scripting languages and their application in automating tasks. - Knowledge of database management systems and SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation. - Familiarity with version control systems and code repositories for efficient code management. - Experience in troubleshooting and debugging applications to identify and resolve issues. - Ability to work with cross-functional teams and effectively communicate technical concepts. - Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices for delivering high-quality applications. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in UNIX Shell Scripting. - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
