The Security Delivery Lead (SDL) will act as a trusted cyber advisor to internal and external stakeholders. SDL will be the primary point of contact for security end-to-end delivery and ongoing service improvement engagements. SDL will continuously understand the client’s business requirements to drive the development and adaptation of the security strategy and transformation plan.
 

SDL will demonstrate a comprehensive grasp and in-depth expertise in cyber security domains, standards, policies and best industry practices. Effective interpersonal communication skills are essential for managing various stakeholders, facilitating the efficient delivery of business objectives, resolving obstacles, and fostering effective collaboration among team members.
 

Specific Requirements:

To be successful in this role, the individual selected for this role must have:

  • A minimum of 10-15 years experience in the IT industry

  • A minimum of 8 years experience in Cyber Security Projects

  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of cyber security standards and frameworks including PSPF/ISM/Essential 8, ISO 27001, ISO 31000, PCI-DSS, VPDSF, NIST CSF, ISA/IEC 62443, NERC-CIP and AESCSF.

  • Proven experience in navigating through ambiguity, managing conflicting priorities, being adaptable and dealing with changing situations
     

General Responsibilities:

  • Enabling client organisations to understand their industry threat landscape and work with perceived risk and mitigation approaches.

  • Managing and building strong relationships with leadership teams and internal/external stakeholders

  • Developing cyber security delivery strategy and roadmaps

  • Cyber Security Maturity Programs

  • Cyber Security Transition and Transformation Programs

  • Cyber Security Service Delivery Improvement Plans and Programs

  • Manage and implement change programs, analyse data, and proactively identify problems and opportunities, anticipating the needs of the business

  • Coordinate the investigation, management, and response to all security incidents with impacts on the account and keep appraised of all security incidents and responses.

  • Manage external vendors/partners and procuring vendors and solutions to deliver project outcomes in line with the business’s procurement frameworks

  • Demonstrated ability to take on accountability for complex pieces of work and to work autonomously

  • Exceptional communication and stakeholders’ management including all levels of the organisation.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Significant professional experience in IT, with at least 8 years’ experience in an Information Security, Risk Management, Audit or equivalent discipline

  • Bachelors or Master’s Degree

  • Cyber Security Certifications CISSP, CISM, CISA, SANS, TOGAF, SABSA

  • Expert knowledge of Information Security principles and practices

  • Advanced project, analysis, problem solving, and business relationship skills

  • Excellent understanding of current legislation and precedence governing IT

  • Relevant certifications in project management (e.g. PMP, Agile, SAFe, Prince2)

You must have the ability to obtain an Australian Government security clearance.
