In today's rapidly changing world, NTU is facing unprecedented challenges in adapting its student administration processes to keep up with the ever-evolving needs and expectations of students. The system analyst will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions to enhance operational efficiency across university departments. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, creating and maintaining RPA bots, and ensuring seamless integration with existing systems. The incumbent will work closely with ERP team to analyze and define user requirements, recommend, and evaluate appropriate end-to-end IT solutions; manage project and change implementation; as well as maintaining and supporting the system implemented.

Responsibilities:

Requirements Analysis and Documentation

  • Meet with stakeholders to identify and create clear and concise documentation of business requirements for a given project

  • Analyze and validate requirements to ensure they are feasible and meet the needs of the business

Systems Design

  • Design and develop RPA workflows and bots using RPA tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism.

  • Collaborate with business units to analyze and document automation requirements and processes.

  • Implement automation solutions that improve operational efficiency and accuracy.

Systems Development

  • Integrate RPA solutions with various systems, databases, and applications.

  • Ensure successful deployment and configuration of RPA bots in production environments.

Training and Support

  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure RPA solutions meet business requirements and function correctly.

  • Perform troubleshooting and resolve issues related to RPA implementations.

Communication and Stakeholder Management

  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders to ensure they are informed of project progress and any issues that arise

Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor RPA bots to ensure optimal performance and address any operational issues.

  • Provide support and maintenance for existing RPA solutions, including updates and enhancements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline.

  • At least 5 years’ experience in IT, with a minimum of 3 years in systems analysis and design.

  • Proficiency in low code programming, specifically in developing and maintaining applications using low code platforms like OutSystems, alongside experience with Oracle technologies and development tools, including Oracle Forms, Reports, and PL/SQL scripting.

  • Ability to design and develop scalable, maintainable, and efficient applications to meet business requirements.

  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to identify, analyze and resolve complex issues.
