About the Role
Location: An GiangRoles and Responsibilities:
1. Branch Engagement:
• Build a strong and quality sales force in your regions by building strong relationships, engagement with Bank partners (RD - Regional Directors) with clear sales funnel, business & development plans.
• Liaise and maintain effective relationship with the partner’s regional director/Branch Manager to support the achievement of sales targets.
• Align the sales plan with Branch Manager (BM)/RD base on Master plan and support the BDMs to ensure they are active in engagement with the branch.
• Build up and maintain solid relationship and rapport with banks’ district managers, branch managers and all frontline staff
• Monitor the sales momentum on sales staff and branch level. Provide targeted coaching to uplift sales productivity
2. Sales Target Delivery:
• Drive and monitor the team to achieve the agreed sales volume, persistency, and sustainable growth targets for the assigned bank regions.
• Ensure all sales are properly conducted to right customers
• Conduct day-to-day sales review and appointments with BDM
• Record and update lead status / sales funnel & update sales performance to Account Head
• Take responsibility on increasing persistency (FY) & Customer Policy Acknowledgement requirements (ACK)
• Achieve pre-set business targets: case count, active branch, active sales staff and various KPIs for designated branches & regions
• Suggest the sales funnel initiatives to enhance the productivity
3. Policy Servicing:
• Ensure all pending post underwriting (e.g.: supplementary financial and medical information) and issues are solved within the agreed Service Level Agreement
• Ensure all claims and complaints from customers are solved within the time frame agreed to ensure customer centricity
• Support BDMs and branch to execute sale activities & customers campaign as a plan
• Foster a strong sales and customer centricity culture by collaborating with internal functions and partner to enhance partner and customer experiences, persistency and workforce productivity.
4. Conduct Continuous Sales Coaching to internal and external sales force
• Support BDM to conduct workshop/ training/ coaching to bankstaff to improve their capability
• Provide coaching to inactive BDMs on weekly basis to sharpen their mindset, capabilities and motivation
• Handhold and provide mentorship & guidance to coach new BDM on a daily basis, providing joint branch visits, sharing best practices, and skills
• Take on different responsibilities, tasks, and management areas assigned by the Account Head or CPDO from time to time to meet business requirements or other requirements
• Ensure all marketing and sales programs to bank’s frontline staff are communicated and ensure the awareness and participation
• Inspire, develop the team members with mentoring, coaching, motivation and information in leading them to achieve their objectives and goals. Manage team members to increase team performance and productivity levels.
• Enhance capability of team members and ensure individual development plans (IDP) are established for team members.
Job Requirements:
- Graduated from business administration or related fields
- Have at least 3-5 years of management experience in the field of business development - sales. Experience in the insurance or banking industry is preferred.
- Experience from traditional insurance agency channels is an added advantage.
- Disciplined and honest
- Driven by the end result, able to work under high pressure, always innovate and have a sales mindset.
- Build sustainable sales, bring profits from partners
- Comprehensive knowledge of insurance products, processes and services
- Customer service is the center
- Good management and people engagement skills. Ability to influence and build effective relationship, profitable sales through key counterparties
- Personal characteristics: Positive, passionate, resilient, cooperative, independent, innovative
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, lead and motivate teams
- Ability to collaborate with others to handle problems in scope of work efficiency and for out of scope can be reach recommendation level
- Ability to develop capability of team members and build individual development plans (IDP) for team members
