Business Finance Center Intern

Job Description

The Business Finance Center Intern provides operational and analytical support to the Latam Regional FP&A and Reporting Package teams. This role is designed for an early‑career professional or active student, focused on learning core finance processes, supporting data management activities, and collaborating with internal finance teams to ensure efficient execution of key financial activities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Operations Support

i. Support the preparation and basic tracking of budgets within the Biopharmaceutical business

ii. Assist in financial planning cycles such as Operating Plan, Latest Estimate, and Forecast

iii. Help validate financial data across planning systems and reporting tools

2. Reporting and Presentation Support

i. Assist in the preparation of financial presentations for Finance teams and internal stakeholders

ii. Draft preliminary comments and summaries to support the interpretation of financial results

3. Financial Master Data Support

i. Support the correct use and validation of financial master data (Cost Centers, MPGs) across LATAM

ii. Help ensure data consistency and accuracy for reporting and analysis purposes

4. Process Improvement and Digital Tools

i. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the Business Finance Center

ii. Support the adoption and use of digital tools to simplify and standardize finance processes

As an Intern, you will support these activities by ensuring data quality, timely reporting, and structured financial support across the region.

How You Will Achieve It

  • Support budget execution analysis within the Biopharmaceutical business

  • Assist in the preparation of management presentations for Finance and Regional teams

  • Help ensure correct usage of financial master data (Cost Centers, Profit Centers) at a regional level

  • Support the timely and accurate flow of financial information for decision‑making

  • Collaborate with Finance colleagues, Business Finance Center teams, and key internal partners

Additional Responsibilities

  • Learn and apply basic best practices in financial analysis and reporting

  • Support data organization and preparation to enable regional reporting and insights

Qualifications

  • Active student in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field

  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail

  • Good organizational, time management, and problem‑solving skills

Must‑Have

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

  • Fluent in English

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

  • Basic to intermediate Excel skills (Pivot Tables preferred)

  • Comfort working with data and financial information
