SAP Finance IT Intern

We are looking for an innovative and motivated candidate who under general direction and with a high level of autonomy, will use knowledge and skills obtained through education and experience to perform the assignments.

The candidate will be required to work on multiple projects, initiatives and must have the ability to develop and present secure solutions and remediation advice to leadership and technical teams. The candidate will be required to assess risks imposed by technical solutions, troubleshoot, resolve issues, and advise possible solutions, follow best practices to address risk, while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Enrolled in University.
  • Technical degree required - Software Engineering / Computer Science / Information Systems / System Analysis Technology / Computer Engineering or a related field.
  • Interest and curiosity for Emerging Technologies (e.g. Generative artificial intelligence).
  • Basic knowledge of Operating Systems, Cloud Computing, SAP.
  • Have attended programming classes and have good notions of programming.
  • Advanced English is required.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Innovate, design, develop, implement and support of best-in-class technology solutions for Finance functions.
  • Aligns business strategy with the IT roadmap and enables transformation on new business initiatives, integrate mergers & acquisitions, and existing HP businesses.
  • Deliver Deep Support.
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts to deliver required technical solutions.  
    • Research and utilize Emerging Technologies for targeted initiatives (local, global or organizational).  
  • Attend, participate and present in technical meetings with project teams.
  • Investigation of technology solutions to support technical teams.
  • Support admin activities.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Experience or understanding of software systems design tools and languages.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of design for software systems running on multiple platform types.
  • Understanding of basic testing, coding, and debugging procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.

    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 

Education and Experience Required:

  • High School Degree 4th Year of University completed--typically a technical degree specialization.
