The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a CO Specialist - Customer Issue Resolution, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Managing customer issues related to billing, collections, and complaints, including disputes, returns, adjustments, account reconciliation, and collection activities to ensure timely payments and quick resolution of customer complaints.

  • Collaborating with customers and internal teams (Customer Incentive Plans, Distribution Center, Transportation teams, Pricing Teams, Cash application Team), such as quality departments, to resolve delinquent and disputed accounts, working independently to perform robust collection activities through communication via email and tickets.

  • Handling sensitive and confidential financial data with discretion and maintain proficiency in corporate systems like SAP & Salesforce, ensuring up-to-date training and certifications.

  • Interpret company policies and regulations, investigate issues, and liaise with other departments to resolve problems, identify, and implement service solutions, while maintaining high service standards and ethical conduct.

  • Continuously expand knowledge of credit policies and principles, enhance skills in analysis, reporting, and presentation, and provide training to new employees and team members on credit systems and related topics, contributing to departmental process improvements and service excellence.

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-4 combined years of customer service, customer incentive plans, finance, supply chain or sales experience

  • Advanced English

  • Demonstration of strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, organizational and short-term planning skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to build conditional formulas, VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables, create macros, and manage large data sets

  • Experience with customer service processes and systems – SAP and Salesforce (or other CRM system).

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: 

  • Account receivables (AR) knowledge and experience as an additional asset

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated problem solving, reasoning, and analytical skills

  • Flexible and detail oriented
