This position will support our Trachte facility in Eastanollee, Ga. As a part of nVent, Trachte is a leading manufacturer of highly engineered metal buildings for industrial and commercial applications. Today, nVent connects and protects our customers with inventive electrical solutions. We design, manufacture, market, install and service high performance products and solutions for mission-critical equipment, buildings and essential processes. Offering both prefabricated and on-site building capabilities, framed and frameless building construction types, and products ranging from build kits and modular units to fully engineered integrated buildings.

The primary purpose of the lead builder is to stage (split buildings and load buildings) train and instruct all crew to perform all building staging related tasks including, but not limited to :

  • Be prepared to be productive at the start of every shift along with having your tools, information and materials ready.
  • Splitting oversized buildings into multiple sections.
  • Loading buildings onto semi trucks.
  • Placing ship loose material into building prior to shipping.
  • Being a champion for safety, quality and 5S.
  • Achieving weekly production goals.
  • Using hand and power tools.
  • Able to read blueprints.
  • Safely operating forklifts and scissor lifts.
  • Working within a crew to complete the finishing of buildings.
  • Effectively position all building parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled. High school diploma or GED and a minimum of 3 years construction experience.

Sheet metal experience preferred.
Prior forklift and scissor lift experience.
Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, procedure manuals and blueprints.
Effective oral and written communications.
Must be able to work Mon-Thurs. 6:00am - 4:30pm and overtime, as needed.
