Position Summary...

You will work closely with Business team to understand the requirements, drive design, architecture and influence the choice of technology to deliver solution working closely with senior architects and leadership team.

You will also have challenging opportunities to cross-collaborate with inter-disciplinary product and engineering teams to solve some of the unique challenges in multi-channel shopping experience. 

What you will do

·       As a member of the team you will be expected to develop, build, test and deploy cutting edge solutions at scale, impacting millions of customers worldwide. 

·       Support in recommendations of solution design options factoring in requirements, standards and current Infrastructure environment. Communicate and present solutions to the other stakeholders 

·        

What you will bring

·       Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline with 4 to 6 years of core software product development experience. 

·       Strong computer science fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, databases, operating systems, etc. 

·       Hands on in developing web applications using REST, Messaging and SOA 

·      1 or more years of experience with Java (Spring MVC, Hibernate) in building multi-threaded high performance scalable applications 

·      Experience with Cloud Computing platforms: Microsoft Azure, Google cloud or similar is a plus. 

·     Expereince in migration of monolith to Microservices and cloud is plus. 

· A self-motivated learner and builder with strong customer focus and obsession to quality

  • 4-6 years of experience, with at least 3 years focused on Backend engineering platform development. 

  • Development experience in Java 11 or above

  • Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot framework, including Multithreading, Data Structures, Algorithms, and Design Patterns, with a focus on developing robust, high-performance, and scalable applications. 

  • Strong in writing modular and testable code and test cases (unit, functional and integration) using frameworks like JUnit, Mockito, and Mock MVC

  • Solid understanding of service-oriented architecture, microservices, design patterns, and distributed/cloud computing concepts. 

  • CI/CD development environments/tools: Git, Maven, Jenkins.

  • Experienced in monitoring and alerting tools like Prometheus, Splunk, and other related systems and excellent in debugging and troubleshooting issues.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative team player.

  • A continuous drive to explore, improve, enhance, automate and optimize systems and tools.

  • Strong computer science fundamentals in data structures and algorithms

  • Derive and implement non-functional requirements based on interactions with the product and business elements

  • Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues on time
