Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled IoT Sensor and Actuator Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining technical requirements, developing specifications, and supporting the installation and configuration of IoT sensors and actuators. This role involves working closely with suppliers, developing test cases, and ensuring the seamless integration of sensors into IoT platforms. Roles & Responsibilities • Expected to be an Industrial SME and primary point of contact for the project • Industrial Automation, Calibration, Configuration and testing experience in field instruments • Experience in leading software development teams and collaborating with cross-functional teams. • Experience in developing and configuring software systems for IoT platforms. • Manage the team and ensure successful project delivery • Stay updated with the latest advancements in Industrial Sensor/Actuators and IoT platforms, integrating innovative approaches for sustained competitive advantage. Professional & Technical Skills: • Must Have Skills o Industrial IoT Platforms – OSI PI, Kepware, PTC Thingworx o Protocols – RS232, RSR485, HART, UART, Digital and Analog I/O’s o Embedded C# & Hardware Integration o Proficiency in designing and executing hardware test plans and test setups • Good to Have o LoRaWAN and other network connectivity technologies (4G, 5G, LTE-M) o Understanding of safety industry standards, regulations and frameworks (e.g. CE, UL, FCC) to test and ensure the safe use of instruments and equipment o Familiarity with analog and digital electrical hardware design process o Experience with testing methodologies and test equipment o Experience in creating device testing frameworks Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. • Experience with mechanical, electronic, and RF design. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong communication and supplier management skills.
