Position Summary...
What you'll do...
As a Senior Manager in Sustainability Data Analytics at Walmart, you will play a critical role in supporting our company's commitment to environmental sustainability. In this exciting new role, you will analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify opportunities for Walmart to reduce its environmental footprint and improve its social impact. You will work closely with cross-functional teams across the company to develop and implement sustainable solutions that drive business results while promoting a more sustainable future.
Key Responsibilities:
Working alongside Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) to develop a step-by-step accounting methodology for externally disclosed metrics that addresses the need and interpretation of external and internal stakeholders, incorporating feedback from SMEs and other stakeholders. This includes developing footnotes and caveats for external disclosure to provide additional context about externally disclosed metrics.
Help SMEs set ambitious sustainability goals that are rooted in the SMART goal-setting principles, ensuring that goals are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound.
Help build and maintain dashboards that provide real-time insights into Walmart's sustainability performance, using data from various sources to identify areas for improvement and track progress towards sustainability goals.
Work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across the company to understand their data needs and develop customized data sets and reports to support their sustainability initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the data flow and automate data integration into dashboards, ensuring that data is accurate, complete, and up to date.
Use data analytics tools and techniques to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform sustainability goals and objectives, and provide recommendations for improvement.
Collaborate with external partners and vendors to assess and improve the sustainability of Walmart's supply chain, using data and analytics to drive decision-making and track progress.
Stay up to date on emerging sustainability trends and regulatory requirements and provide recommendations on how Walmart can stay ahead of the curve.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as sustainability, environmental science, data analytics, accounting, finance, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in sustainability, data analytics, or a related field.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets and identify key insights.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams and SMEs.
Understanding of Supply Chain emissions accounting (GHG protocol)
Proficiency in data analytics tools and techniques, such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization software.
Experience with sustainability reporting and goal-setting principles, such as GRI and SMART.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
