Job Description​

Opportunity:

Wright Memorial Physician's Group in Trenton, MO is seeking a Medical Office Specialist to join our team. You will work to ensure patient confidentiality in all instances, while maintaining a pleasant and professional appearance and conduct. 

 

 

Shift Details:

  • PRN

  • Shifts could be Monday - Saturday

  • Starting shifts vary between 7:15am-8:30am

  • Closing shifts vary between 4:15pm-5:30pm

 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Answers the telephone 

  • Communicates messages through email or Epic  

  • Greets, registers, and schedules patient appointments  

  • Collects patient copayments  

  • Makes appointment reminder calls  

  • Verifies insurance and other patient data is accurate  

  • Scans and/or uploads patient information to patients electronic chart 

 

We are seeking individuals who are able to provide backup for other positions and functions in the medical office including: medical records, scheduling, insurance verification, patient referrals, etc. and the ability to float between multiple locations as assigned.
