Builder.io is revolutionizing the way developers and teams build and manage their digital landscapes. As a leading Visual Development Platform, we seamlessly integrate with any site or app, empowering developers and enhancing team collaboration. Our core products, including a Visual CMS and the innovative AI-powered Visual Copilot, are trusted by industry giants like JCrew, Vimeo, and Mattel. As we scale, we’re looking for an Education Engineer to join our team and help us create comprehensive, clear, and engaging documentation for our products.
As an Education Engineer, you will play a crucial role in crafting documentation that enables developers and non-developers to leverage Builder effectively. You will work closely with our engineering, product, and customer-facing teams to understand our technology stack and translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating, troubleshooting, and testing code examples for the documentation, incorporating customer and internal feedback, and collaborating with writers, engineers, and other stakeholders to continuously improve our documentation.
The items above are a starting point for a conversation, not a hard list of requirements. If this role excites you, we hope you will apply!
The estimated total compensation for the Education Engineer role is $115,000 - $165,000 USD. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors discovered during the interview process, including experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
At Builder.io, you’ll have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team, contribute to a culture of innovation, and make a significant impact on our products and the developer community. If you’re passionate about writing clear, concise documentation and want to help developers succeed with our platform, we’d love to hear from you.
To apply, provide a written cover letter, examples of your technical writing (links are great), and code examples (GitHub repos are ideal).
