Job Description Summary:

This position serves as the front line contact for the assigned area(s) and provides exceptional customer service. Exhibits a thorough knowledge of all programs, policies, services, and membership information as it relates to the assigned area(s).

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two (2) years’ customer service or administrative support experience required.  Experience with administrative tasks preferred.
  • Current HS AED CPR certification successfully obtained within ninety (90) days of hire as applicable to assigned area(s).
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ work experience in a fitness facility preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
  • Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.

Job Specific Duties:

  • Greets all members and guests in a friendly, professional and enthusiastic manner.  Handles all requests exhibiting exceptional customer service and timely delivery.
  • Maintains a thorough knowledge of programs, services, and provides membership information as applicable to assigned area(s).
  • Exhibits basic working knowledge of fitness equipment as applicable to assigned area(s).
  • Accurately and efficiently performs all necessary paperwork and data entry for new member sign-up and account maintenance as applicable to assigned area(s).
  • Maintains a working knowledge of club management software and other necessary computer applications as applicable to assigned area(s).
  • Monitors entry into the assigned area(s) per department procedure and protocol.  Collects appropriate fees, handles reservations and registrations, as applicable to assigned area(s).
  • Accurately performs all opening and closing procedures per department protocol and as applicable to assigned area(s).
  • Understands and stays up to date and proficient in all issues related to safety and emergency procedures.
  • As applicable to assigned area(s); assists with cleaning, creation of nutritional shakes, etc.
  • The above essential functions are representative of major duties of positions in this job classification.  Specific duties and responsibilities may vary based upon departmental needs.  Other duties may be assigned similar to the above consistent with knowledge, skills and abilities required for the job.  Not all of the duties may be assigned to a position.

Maintains regular and consistent attendance as scheduled by department leadership.

Schedule:

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week.  Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
