AI/Machine Learning Engineer

Our Product Validation department is embarking on an exciting and critically important journey to leverage the power of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) to revolutionize our testing processes. This role holds paramount significance as we aim to build a AI/ML architecture that will not only automate testing but also enhance our ability to analyze vast test case databases and system test logs.

This role would be responsible for overseeing the selection or development of AI tools, data conditioning and tool integration with existing infrastructure.

This role is pivotal in shaping the strategic direction of Product Validation department. The successful integration of AI/ML into our testing processes will enable us to stay at the forefront of technology and maintain a competitive edge in the industry.

By automating testing and improving the analysis of test data, this position will play a central role in significantly reducing testing cycle times and increasing the efficiency of our testing efforts. The work will directly impact the reliability and robustness of our products, enhancing our reputation for quality assurance.

This role will transform our department into an innovation hub where AI/ML techniques are applied to solve complex testing challenges. It will attract top talent and position us as industry leaders.

This is not an immediately attainable outcome, but rather a long-term strategic objective spanning short, medium, and long-term horizons. Roles and Responsibilities

• AI/ML Strategy: Identify AI Opportunities. Develop and implement an AI/ML strategy tailored to our server testing needs. ROI Investigations
• Tool Evaluation: Research and evaluate existing AI/ML tools and frameworks in the market (off-the-shelf) for testing automation.
• Architectural Design: Design a robust AI/ML architecture that integrates seamlessly with our testing processes and infrastructure.
• Data Analysis and Conditioning: Utilize AI/ML techniques to analyze large test case databases and system test logs for insights and optimization. Drive tool roll-out and integration.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and testers, to understand testing requirements and to ensure successful implementation of AI/ML solutions.
• Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for AI/ML solutions and processes for knowledge sharing.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in AI/ML frameworks and programming languages (e.g., Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Java, OpenAI).
• Experience: Proven experience in designing and implementing AI/ML solutions, with a focus on test automation. With experience of Server validation on Firmware Functionality, Reliability and Hardware Compatibility would be a plus
• Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with AI/ML toolkits and web testing automation tools.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to analyze test data and system logs.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Leadership: Demonstrated leadership in driving AI/ML initiatives within a testing department.
• Flexibility of anticipating problems, taking challenges.
• Flexible, resilient and comfortable with ambiguity, adaptable to a rapidly-change environment and open to new concepts and/or processes
• Fluent communicating in both Chinese and English
