We are looking for you to join our team as a Cyber Systems Engineer or Principal Cyber Systems Engineer based out of Chantilly, VA.
 

What to expect:
 

Responsibilities:

  • Be able to provide support onsite, remotely, over the phone, or via email.
  • Develop solutions for systems & networks that support mission critical and mission essential infrastructure.
  • Analyze existing systems & networks and make proactive recommendations to drive change and create efficiencies.
  • Willing to perform minimal break – fix tasks

Cyber Systems Engineer Basic Qualifications:

  • Active Secret Clearance required to start with the ability to maintain
  • 2 years with a bachelor’s degree in an IT field; 6 years' experience in lieu of a degree
  • Experience with Windows and/or Linux Server Operating Systems
  • Experience with Infrastructure Support

Principal Cyber Systems Engineer Basic Qualifications:

  • Active Secret Clearance required to start with the ability to maintain
  • 5 years' experience with a bachelor’s degree in an IT field; 9 years' experience in lieu of a degree
  • Experience with Windows and Linux Server Operating Systems
  • Experience with VMWare & OpenStack Virtual Environments
  • Experience with Infrastructure Support

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Willingness to upgrade security clearance to TS/SCI with poly
  • Knowledge of Server Operating System MS 2019
  • Knowledge of Power Shell and Basic commands
  • Knowledge of MS patching process using WSUS
  • Knowledge of Active Directory
  • Knowledge of RMF and A&A accreditation process

Salary Range: $95,900.00 - $143,900.00Salary Range 2: $118,000.00 - $177,000.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
