We are currently looking for a Parts Quality Engineering Intern to join our team in Smyrna, TN and will be a full-time role.

A Day in the Life:   

• Communicate with suppliers to ensure assigned parts meet Nissan quality standards
• Review supplier's part, sub-assembly, and complete body or system layout and offers improvement suggestions, help eliminate repetitive quality concerns, and establish permanent countermeasures and successful adoption
• Rate suppliers based on response to quality issues
• Analyze various quality and warranty reports to investigate production and customer satisfaction concerns, monitor data, determine root cause, and assists in developing solutions
• Work with suppliers to ensure required or recommended design changes do not have a negative impact on quality or manufacturing processes

Who We’re Looking for: 

• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate/graduate degree in Engineering- mechanical, electrical, chemical, or aerospace preferred
• GPA of 3.0 or above
• Strong organization ability with keen attention to detail
• Self-motivated and ability to multi-task with day-to-day priorities
• Great communication skills both written and oral
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite specifically Excel; experience with Tableau a plus
• Ability to perform work onsite at Smyrna, TN
