Hetronic, a Methode Electronics Company, is seeking a Customer Service Representative 1 responsible for all customer inquiries and transactions. This position will act as a Methode front-line representative and requires professionalism, efficiency and accuracy.

Responsibilities:
Provides order status and information support to customers
Enters customer purchase orders into accounting and scheduling system
Acts as customer representative to other internal departments
Acts as corporate representative to the customer
Works with Sales Engineers to communicate all aspects of customer orders with customer
Assists the Sales Manager in all duties and other tasks as assigned
Enters parts orders and confirm with customers
Generates quotes in business system from Service Reports
Follows-up on customer to submit purchase orders for service quotes
Converts quotes to order
Prepares credit paperwork for review and approval
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
Previous customer service experience in electronics industry preferred
Strong attention to detail
Ability to complete tasks independently and meet strict deadlines
Ability to seek out new tasks and welcome new challenges in a fast-paced, customer- focused environment
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and various levels of management both written and verbal
Proficiency in MS Office products, such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Teams, etc.
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds
