Operations and Insights Lead – Group Propertywill be responsible for providing business insights, analyst and project management support as well as precinct and carparking day of operations management to ensure our precinct and related car parks and facilities operate efficiently. The role is responsible for managing and developing informative data and insights to inform decisions and help identify improvement opportunities across group property projects. The role will have functional responsibility and accountability for overseeing the operations and performance of carparks and related facilities across the Qantas Group and delivers changes in line with future parking and precinct needs. Apart of this role will be responsible for ensuring the precinct parking including access requests, policy allocation and parking guidelines are adhered to ensure the carparks operate effectively and efficiently by providing an appropriate level oversight to manage utilisation and capacity. 

You’ll have – 

  • 2-3 years of experience in an analytical role 

  • Tertiary qualification in business analytics and/ or project management desirable (or equivalent experience) 

  • Understanding of financial and operational issues, risk assessment, computerised information systems 

  • Understanding of project management methodologies 

  • Advanced PC skills, especially in the use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI and project management tools 

  • Experience in the delivery or support of projects within a large organisation across diverse and multiple operational areas 

  • Experience in providing business analysis support to multiple simultaneous projects 

  • Experience in implementing contemporary customer experience initiatives 

  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management, both verbal and written 

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and foster networking between various areas and departments 

  • Flexible to change priorities in allocated work to meet project deadlines
