Job Description
This role supports the design and delivery of high quality visual content for internal and external audiences across Ameriprise India. The position combines graphic design, PowerPoint presentation design, and instructional design skills to translate business content into clear, engaging, and on brand experiences.Key Responsibilities
Visual & Graphic Design
Design branded visual assets including presentations, posters, emailers, TV content, infographics, and digital graphics for internal use and social media.
Apply strong design fundamentals (layout, hierarchy, typography, color) to improve clarity and engagement.
Ensure consistent application of Ameriprise brand standards across deliverables.
Maintain organized design files, templates, and version control.
PowerPoint & Presentation Design
Create and enhance professional, executive‑ready PowerPoint presentations.
Convert content‑heavy material into clear, visually structured slides.
Support leaders and teams with presentation layout, storytelling flow, and visual polish.
Use and maintain standard templates to enable consistency and efficiency.
Instructional Design Support
Apply basic instructional design principles to create video content aligned to defined objectives.
Partner with subject‑matter experts to organize content for videos.
Collaboration & Delivery
Work closely with immediate leader, HR, and business partners to clarify requirements and deliver against timelines.
Incorporate feedback constructively and manage multiple deliverables in parallel.
Operate effectively in a global, hybrid collaboration environment.
Required Qualifications
5–8 years of experience in graphic design and/or presentation design.
Strong PowerPoint design capability; comfortable working with content‑heavy material.
Solid visual design skills using standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent).
Working knowledge of instructional design fundamentals and video creation concepts.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow‑through.
Clear communication skills and a collaborative, service‑oriented mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting internal communications, external communications.
Experience working with global stakeholders.
In-Office Collaboration
We are a client-centric, relationship-based business. Working together, in-person, is foundational to how we achieve results. Our employees work in the office at least three (3) days per week, with flexibility to work from home two (2) days per week.
