Summary: As a Security Engineer, you will apply security skills to design, build and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people. You will provide services to safeguard information, infrastructures, applications, and business processes against cyber threats. Your typical day will involve utilizing your expertise in Microsoft Azure Security to ensure the security of various systems and assets. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective security solutions, and continuously monitor and assess the security posture of the organization. Your role will play a crucial part in maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive information and mitigating potential security risks. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently as SME for Sentinel, KQL, JSON, Defender (M365) solution. - Should be good with Forensic Investigation, Threat hunt queries, SOAR playbook development, SIEM use case development. Knowledge of policy deployment, ASR rules. - Contribute to providing solutions to client requirements. Should have good understanding of Azure cloud security tools and features. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective security solutions. - Monitor and assess the security posture of the organization on MDC. - Ensure the security of various systems and assets using Microsoft Azure Security expertise. - Identify and mitigate potential security gaps via log analysis/alerts deep dive. - Should be good with develop new automations. - Assist in incident response and investigation activities. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Azure Security, Sentinel, KQL, M365, JSON, MDC. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Microsoft 365. Azure WAF, FW - Strong understanding of security principles and best practices. - Knowledge of network security protocols and technologies. - Experience in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing. - Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards. - Ability to analyze and interpret security logs and events. - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Microsoft Azure Security. - This position is based at our Gurugram office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
