As a Network Engineer, you will play a pivotal role delivering top-tier IT Network Engineering support to uphold the reliability, resilience, and peak performance of FNZ platforms and corporate systems. It focuses on the intricate landscape of on-premises and cloud networking infrastructure, encompassing the dynamic responsibility of crafting and bolstering Infrastructure as Code for seamless deployment of system enhancements and updates.
Furthermore, this role extends its reach to actively contribute, as part of a comprehensive team, to the maintenance and optimization of physical and on-premises networking technologies within our data centers. This involves adept handling of Fortinet, Checkpoint, and Forcepoint firewalls, mastery in Cisco routing and switching, as well as proficiency in Cloudflare, F5 LTM/GTM/APM/ASM technologies. It's a multifaceted opportunity to engage with a diverse spectrum of networking technologies, ensuring an unwavering foundation for our operational success.
The responsibilities will include:
• Understand the current state, identify gaps, and develop approaches to close these gaps.
• Translate business strategy and requirements into technical strategy and implement optimum solutions.
• Work with various teams to redesign the data centre and network routing for the APAC region.
• Provide support to the existing environment and ensure tickets are being closed as per the SLA.
• Oversee the initiative projects that include recommendations for proposed system implementations, aligning to Global Engineering standards.
• Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to all network engineers.
• Ensure our Security Technologies, content filtering and privileged access are valid and updated.
• Provide Cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
What are we ideally looking for in a successful candidate?
• Minimum of 2+ years relevant experience as a Network Engineer, with detailed technical knowledge of on-premises and cloud networking infrastructure.
• Experience and knowledge of cisco switching and routing, including NSX and Nexus (CCNP Equivalent).
• F5 experience (LTM/APM/ASM/GTM) is essential.
• Checkpoint firewall management and policy implementation, including VPN experience is ideal.
• Experience with Data Center racking, cabling and connectivity.
• Collaborative working style with the ability to work independently, as a team and with various stakeholders.
• Provide guidance to junior team members for technical matters.
• Superior problem-solving capabilities and able to work in a rapidly changing environment.
• Willingness to work on-call (with attractive allowances) when required.
