A Day in the Life

Medtronic has announced its intention to separate the Diabetes division to promote future growth and innovation within the business and reallocate investments and resources across Medtronic, subject to applicable information and consultation requirements. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to join Medtronic's Diabetes business. Medtronic has announced its intention to separate the Diabetes division to promote future growth and innovation within the business and reallocate investments and resources across Medtronic, subject to applicable information and consultation requirements. While you will start your employment with Medtronic, upon establishment of SpinCo or the transition of the Diabetes business to another company, your employment may transfer to either SpinCo or the other company, at Medtronic's discretion and subject to any applicate information and consultation requirements in your jurisdiction.
As a PRB Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the functionality and reliability of Medtronic products by performing investigations for non-conformance products. This position requires a strong focus on quality and compliance, adhering to regulatory standards and internal procedures to maintain the highest product integrity. You will document investigation and disposition processes accurately, maintain thorough records, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement. Additionally, you will uphold safety protocols and contribute to Medtronic’s mission of alleviating pain, restoring health, and extending life by delivering exceptional service and support for life-saving technologies.

Shift: Monday to Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM

• Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.
• Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.
• Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
• Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
• Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.
• Daily PRB report generation and maintenance
• Perform PRB/NCMR investigations using problem solving techniques
• Performs basic technical activities
• Closure of PRB through Factory Works
• Participation in tier meetings
• Provide technical support in areas such as production process improvement or product development
• Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.
• Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.
• Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
• Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent (United States), vocational or technical education or certification (all other countries).
• 0 years of experience required.

Nice to Have:

• Global Reporting, Pentaho and Factory Works knowledge
• Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point
• Fluent in Spanish and English
