What you'll do

Together with your team colleagues you will look after all tasks related to Avaloq release planning and deployment activities. You will be responsible for managing Avaloq stack releases and improvement projects, preparation of environments and handling of code changes from integration to installation.

Our ideal candidate has in-depth experience in Avaloq as a platform across all components, and can deep-dive into maintenance of environments and technical tools for developers. Most importantly, you should be an enthusiastic, curious team player who learns quickly and does not shy away from a challenge.

You’ll also be:

• Collaborating with and influencing colleagues and stakeholders across the business and third party suppliers on the environments under management
• Managing a set of non-production environments and maintaining non-production environment dashboards
• Leading a culture of innovation and strategic thinking that turns big picture strategic opportunities into practical objectives
• Improving or removing manual steps and enhance the deployment and management phases of the development lifecycle, focusing on automation
• Executing all Avaloq release and environment engineering services for Avaloq through release lifecycle from integration of changes, deployment into test environments, to production preparations
• Supporting full developer toolset for Avaloq platform such as ICE, ADAI

The skills you'll need

We’re looking for someone with broad experience of relevant industry standard toolsets and processes, and deep knowledge of the programming languages and tools or libraries used by our applications. You’ll also be an experienced communicator with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to your peers and management level colleagues.

You’ll also need:

• Knowledge and experience of operational principles
• Great stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence both business and technical partners
• The ability to build an effective network of contacts across the organisation to facilitate strategic goals
