Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector is seeking an Associate Electromechanical Engineer to join our team of highly qualified, diverse professionals within the Western Region Vehicle Engineering Directorate. This position is located onsite in Redondo Beach, CA.

Roles and Responsibilities:   

• Perform preliminary requirements definition, conceptual design, preliminary/layout, detail design and analyses, drawing release, design review presentations, and support to fabrication/integration and testing
• Apply research to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems, instruments, controls, and/or machines..

Basic Qualifications: 

A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

• Be completing or has completed their Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree
• Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher

Salary Range, Associate Electromechanical Engineer: $74,000 - $111,000
