What You Will Do:

The Data Governance Analyst provides the unique opportunity to work with a wide array of clients to solve strategic, high-impact, and exciting challenges. Our consultants collaborate with stakeholders on all aspects of data governance, data quality, and data analysis to ensure client organizations are well-positioned to access, manage, and derive insights from data to inform diplomacy and overall decision-making.

The consultant will – among other responsibilities –:

  • Conduct research on different aspects of enterprise data governance, data management, and analytics

  • Prepare summaries of research findings and background papers for policy whitepapers

  • Develop templates and PowerPoint presentations

  • Help design stakeholder engagement plans and engage stakeholders on relevant data policy and governance topics

  • Track action items and coordinate meetings with staff and senior executives

  • Draft and manage completion of data compliance and performance reports


What You Will Need:

  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • THREE (3) years of experience working with data governance, data analysis, or data management


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks, research and analyze client data, and utilize problem-solving skills

  • Experience and/or familiarity with data policy, data governance frameworks, and data quality standards

  • Experience with data analysis tools, strategy development, and/or project management

  • Strong communication/presentation skills and ability to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences

  • Strong consulting skills: identifying and addressing client needs, building relationships, driving initiatives forward

  • Ability to support business development including RFP, RFQ, and RFI responses and white papers

  • Ability to operate successfully on remote projects as well as the ability to support hybrid on-site projects in the DC metro area

The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
