The primary role of this position is to provide oversight over Providers over such activities as Quality Management, patient safety, patient experience, fostering a positive relationship with Providers, and any other duties as assigned. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Through quality reviews, understands how the APPs under their licenses are practicing urgent care medicine. 

  • Complete all paperwork necessary to allow Employee to supervise/collaborate with the maximum number of APPs allowable under the Employee’s physician license in the state in which Employee is licensed. 

  • Maintains patient confidentiality 

  • Communicates respectfully with providers and staff regarding quality of care issues 

  • Promotes WellNow culture by modeling the mission and values of the organization 

  • Serves as a positive advocate for WellNow within the medical community 

  • Works collaboratively with existing quality and performance improvement strategies 

Requirements: 

  • At least 2 years of clinical experience as an attending physician is required 

  • Urgent care, family medicine, or emergency department experience is optimal 

  • Occupational medicine experience highly desirable 

Education: 

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution  

  • Successful completion of a residency program in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine 

Required License or Certification: 

  • Board Certification in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine
