About the role:
We are seeking for an experienced SPM Data & Reporting Specialist to join our ITCI IVES (ITCI Value Enablement and Strategies) organization.
As a part of ITCI IVES Team, you will be directly supporting Projects/Programs, Applications and Agile Portfolios Stakeholders and Communities.
In the role, you will contribute directly to Alcon ITCI portfolio of total value ca. 200M USD, with over 200 active initiatives (waterfall and agile), ca. 1000 applications owned, by collaborating closely with ITCI Leaders, Program Managers, Project Managers, Agile Teams, Application Owners, as well as SN SPM Owner, Technical Team and Platform team, to unlock SPM value supporting the success of the overall ITCI strategic objectives.
In this role, a typical day will include:
- Knowledge expert in the data structure and data export processes for ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) system
- Collect, process and analyze data from SPM as well as potential other sources to generate reports and dashboards.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards within SPM.
- Coordinate development and maintenance of reports and dashboards outside SPM in the corporate data lake.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders (e.g., ITCI Strategy, DTD, etc.)
- Collaborate with departments to understand their data needs and provide reports, dashboards, and analysis.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy by performing regular data audits and validation.
- Create and maintain documentation for data processes and reporting procedures.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data and provide recommendations based on findings.
- Assist in the development and implementation of data management strategies for SPM and the ServiceNow Platform.
- Provide training and support to staff on the use of reporting tools and interpretation of reports.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience with ServiceNow reporting and dashboarding as a must
- Proven experience in data analysis, reporting, and data management
- English (written and spoken)
- Strong experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- SQL skills and experience with databases.
- Alteryx experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex data insights in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work in strict deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Positive attitude with a focus on continuous process improvement
