We’re hiring a Backend Developer to join the team building Agora, a cloud platform that supports service supply chain and reverse‑logistics operations such as returns, repairs, shipments, and fulfillment across multiple systems and regions.

This role combines backend engineering with applied AI. You’ll build Python-based backend services and REST APIs, work on integrations and cloud reliability, and also contribute to Machine Learning and LLM-powered features running in production.

A key part of our culture is AI‑assisted development. You’ll work with modern AI development agents to accelerate delivery, improve code quality, and troubleshoot real production issues—while maintaining strong standards for correctness, security, and clean code.

What you’ll do:

• Build and maintain backend services and REST APIs in Python (FastAPI / Flask)
• Develop cloud‑ready, reliable services (async processing, retries, performance)
• Work on Machine Learning pipelines: model deployment, data pipelines, monitoring
• Contribute to MLOps workflows using Azure ML or similar tools
• Implement LLM solutions, including RAG pipelines, embeddings, and context optimization
• Collaborate through PRs, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
• Support production systems and troubleshoot issues when needed

What we’re looking for:

• 1–3 years of backend development experience (or strong hands‑on projects)
• Solid Python fundamentals and REST API knowledge
• Experience with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL)
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
• Familiarity with Machine Learning concepts and deploying models to production
• Interest or experience in LLMs and generative AI systems
• Experience using AI coding assistants (Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude, etc.) responsibly
• Comfortable with Git, PR workflows, and CI/CD concepts
• English level B2+
