The Executive Director of Clinical Practice is a Doctorly prepared Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)/Advanced Practice Provider (APP) who provides clinical, strategic, and operational leadership for the Ohio State University (OSU) Total Health Care Center (THCC), a public entity Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). This role ensures delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care, and compliance with all Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Health Center Program Requirements. The Executive Director of Clinical Practice is responsible for the comprehensive oversight of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and multiple interprofessional providers across all FQHC sites. The Executive Director of Clinical Practice oversees clinical operations; provider recruitment, performance, and retention; quality improvement; care coordination; and population health initiatives to advance the organization’s mission of equitable and accessible healthcare. In addition, the Executive Director of Clinical Practice promotes, supports, and advocates for the members of the interprofessional team to work at the top of scope of education, certification, and licensure.
