Project Role : Quality Engineer
Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Good to have skills : Python (Programming Language)

Summary:
As a Quality Engineer, your day involves collaborating with diverse teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of comprehensive solutions. You engage in planning activities that span multiple disciplines, focusing on accelerating project timelines while maintaining high standards of quality throughout the application lifecycle. Your role includes continuous testing efforts that cover various aspects such as security, application programming interfaces, and regression. You develop and implement automation strategies, create automated scripts, and manage data and environment configurations. Additionally, you actively participate in code reviews, track and report defects, and contribute to ongoing improvements in the testing process to support overall project success.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance testing processes and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Assist in mentoring junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Continuously evaluate and improve automation frameworks to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Micro Focus Unified Functional Testing (UFT).
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Python (Programming Language).
- Strong knowledge of automation testing principles and best practices.
- Experience in designing and implementing automated test scripts for various testing types.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Ability to analyze test results and provide actionable insights to development teams.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Micro Focus Unified Functional Testing (UFT).
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
