Summary:
As a Zscaler L2 Security Analyst, your day involves in support day-to-day operations, configuration, and incident handling of Zscaler secure access and Zero Trust platforms. This role focuses on operational stability, access troubleshooting, policy management, and service support under defined standards and processes.
As an analyst works closely with L3 Zscaler SMEs, SOC, network, and cloud teams to ensure reliable and secure delivery of internet access and private application access services.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide L2 operational support for Zscaler platforms, including ZIA, ZPA, and ZDX.
- Perform policy configuration and maintenance for internet access and private application
access.
- Support application onboarding, access policies, and authentication workflows.
- Monitor service health, alerts, and dashboards respond to incidents within defined SLAs.
- Perform initial troubleshooting and triage, escalating complex issues to L3 when required.
- Configure and manage:
- ZIA policies (URL filtering, security profiles, access controls)
- ZPA application segments, access policies, client forwarding policy.
- Traffic forwarding, tunnels, and connectors
- Support VPN replacement use cases under guidance (ZPA onboarding and validation).
- Work on IOCs to validate and block malicious domains.
- ZCC version upgrade, rollout in co-ordination with respective teams.
- App connector upgrade, provisioning, maintenance, monitoring.
- Participate in incident management, including impact analysis and resolution tracking.
- Support change management activities (implementation, validation, rollback support).
- Assist in problem investigations by collecting logs, traffic data, and configuration details.
- Maintain accurate tickets, CMDB updates, and operational documentation.
- Prepare SOPs/KBs for repetitive tasks.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must Have Skills: Proficiency in Zscaler Architecture.
- 4–7 years of experience in network security, cloud security, or secure access operations.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) – operational support
- Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) – application onboarding and access support
- Strong understanding of:
- Secure web gateways and proxy concepts
- Access control, authentication, and basic Zero Trust principles
- Networking fundamentals (routing, DNS, TCP/IP)
- Familiarity with network security concepts and secure access technologies.

Additional Information:
- The candidate must have these certifications: Zscaler Certified Cloud Administrator – Internet Access (ZCCA-IA) & Zscaler Certified Cloud Administrator – Private Access (ZCCA-PA)
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
