As Coordinator Maintenance and Logistics you will be responsible for managing the maintenance activity and requirements of training equipment in Qantas Group Flight Training Facilities. You will manage equipment maintenance specific issues such as warranty and obsolescence, liaise with internal/external departments and vendors to source goods and services required to maintain equipment to both customer and CASA standards. Work with Simulator venders to manage warranty repairs, Oversee day of operations AOG customer support / communication and to ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
You’ll have –
Knowledge and at least 3 years’ experience with Simulator hardware and software components
Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
The ability to roster and prioritise Simulator Maintenance
Knowledge of CASA requirements relating to accreditation of Simulators
The ability to ensure compliance with manufacturer’s warranty and technical specifications
Motivation and desire to identify and implement continual improvement strategies for the simulator maintenance
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to prioritise and manage busy workload
