We are seeking a Control Systems and Software Test Engineer to join our Package Engineering team in Prague.

Controls Engineer is integrating and testing the developed concepts on the control system platform, managing software changes and on-time delivery, and providing support during site commissioning.  The position requires a high degree of discipline, organizational and communication skills.  Occasional travel is required. 

Responsibilities may include but are not necessarily limited to:

• PLC and HMI application development.
• Design and maintenance of gas turbines packages control systems.
• Integrate and document the developed solution and test implementations against requirements.
• Collaborate with Aftersales departments to address HMI, Display Images and programming environment obsolescence issues during but not limited to product support Product Problem Resolution (PPR) and Technical Letters (TL) cycle and legacy systems maintenance regular meetings.

Requirements: 

• Education in Computer Science, Controls Engineering or equivalent.
• Fluency in English. International experience and other languages are a plus.
• 5 years of experience in a software automation and control system development position.
• Ability to travel roughly 15%
• HMI-PC Imaging Software: Ghost or equivalent
• PLC Engineering Tools: Rockwell Automation (Allen Bradley) Suite is a plus
• PLC/HMI programming languages (IEC 61131).
• Automation protocols: Modbus, OPC, Profibus, ControlNet and HART Protocol.
• Industrial Network Architecture and Troubleshooting (IP/Routers/Packet analysis)
• Willingness to learn and share with team members. Strong initiative and strength in delivering results.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, a team player with a positive attitude, patience, understanding, and flexibility.
• Strong communication skills and ability to maintain productive working relationships.
• Able to prepare technical documentations / software specifications
• MS Office tools

The following skills shall be considered as a “plus”: 

• P&ID’s, Logic Diagrams, Cause / Effect matrices
• Microsoft Visio and Projects
• Power Generation and Oil & Gas Industry
• DCS, SCADA systems

Base Minimum Pay:

Kč1,162,644.00
