THE JOB

Live Nation Concerts is seeking a skilled Marketing Director for its destination events, self-produced concert experiences, and boutique festival properties. We produce intimate and exclusive experiences where everyone's a VIP and no detail is overlooked. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with excellent communication and organizational skills, strong problem-solving skills, and an ability to work efficiently and accurately on multiple projects. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in event marketing, digital strategy, ad buying, and marketing brand strategy. The Marketing Director will lead the development and execution of strategies that drive sales growth and strengthen brand excellence of all event properties. 

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute annual marketing strategies to drive lead generation, increase sales conversion, and uphold the highest standards across all company events
  • Analyze market performance and trends to identify growth opportunities, leveraging research, competitor insights, forecasts, and consumer data to shape strategies that enhance market share and increase sales
  • Create and maintain a successful brand and image that attracts customers and artist partners
  • Develop and refine business-to-business sales materials to fit overall brand image
  • Set clear marketing goals and effectively communicate them within the team and externally
  • Manage marketing department employees and external marketing vendors, ensuring a cohesive approach across all marketing efforts
  • Act as the main point of contact with artist partners on all marketing-related tasks ensuring all event goals are met and expectations exceeded 
  • Drive revenue growth by implementing integrated marketing and sales initiatives.
  • Create and maintain a cohesive look and feel for each event
  • Lead marketing efforts for event activations, announcements, and on-sales including but not limited to overseeing website build, marketing plans, tracking and communicating key metrics 
  • Define and oversee the online presence of the company and all event properties
  • Create and manage approved marketing budget including tracking all associated spending and settlement for all events
  • Work closely with the operations team and individual department heads to ensure all guest-related information is presented properly to the public
  • Collaborate with company and artist PR partners to ensure events are properly represented online, amongst the media, and in all press releases
  • Seek and integrate innovative tools and technologies to elevate marketing efforts and expand the department’s capabilities

On-site Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure all events are held to the highest standard in both in-person and online experiences
  • Manage on-site guest communication efforts, including but not limited to: guest emails/newsletters, informational materials presented at check-in and concierge desks, public relations needs, emergency communications, etc.
  • Oversee on-site execution of Marketing, PR, Photo, Video, Social Media, Web, etc. during each show
  • Project manage on-site media partners to ensure alignment with event goals and brand standards
  • Manage attending media to ensure both internal Company and event needs are met while following proper protocol
  • Collaborate with Guest Services Team to maintain clear and effective guest communication
  • Work with artist teams for on-site marketing efforts including photo & video access as well as during + post-event approvals
  • Work with partner team on emergency messaging preparation and execution as needed

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

  • 5+ years of experience in Marketing and/or brand management with a proven track record of driving sales growth through strategic marketing
  • Interpersonal Skills – provide strong leadership and communication skills while demonstrating the company’s values
  • Technical proficiency in copywriting and content creation, social media marketing, SEO, public relations, email marketing, PPC advertising and automation. Graphic design skills are a plus
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, CRM systems, and marketing automation platforms to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies on sales performance.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and customer journey optimization to be able to focus on higher conversions of buyers
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with very strong attention to detail
  • A business qualification – BSc/BA/MSc/ in business management, marketing, advertising, brand management, or related field
  • Ability to maintain, manage, and communicate deadlines, roadblocks, and escalations as needed
  • Ability to provide leadership, prioritize, organize, motivate, problem-solve, and delegate
  • Willingness to adopt new project management tools, technological tools (i.e. AI), and communication platforms as used by the company
  • Willingness to travel and be onsite for several events throughout the year

The expected compensation for this position is:

$99,000.00 USD - $125,000.00 USD

** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
