Job Summary                                                                                                                   

Misselwood at Endicott College is a breathtaking oceanfront estate with historic charm, offering panoramic views and serving as the premier location for world-class events in Beverly, MA. We are seeking a vibrant and dynamic individual to join our Operations Team. Reporting to the Director of Events Operations, this role will support the efforts of the Operations Team, upholding Misselwood’s reputation for superior hospitality and seamless event execution.

The Event Operations Coordinator supports the planning, coordination, and execution of events with responsibility for small-scale events and operations tasks. This role assists the Misselwood Events department by managing logistics, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring effective communication between professional and seasonal teams.

 Key Outcomes                                                                                                                   

60% Logistics Coordination

  • Coordinate and implement all details for Endicott-hosted programs, Misselwood events series, and small scale corporate day and overnight programs

  • Perform administrative support tasks, including managing inbox correspondence, processing invoices, and maintaining operational records.

  • Assist with scheduling seasonal staff

  • Serve as a liaison between professional staff and seasonal team members to ensure clear communication and efficient event execution.

  • Support Event Operation Managers will logistics and operational tasks

40% On-Site Operations

  • Support the Operations Management team in ensuring the Misselwood House is ready to welcome guests and that day-to-day operations run smoothly.

  • Assist with venue setup and teardown, ensuring all materials, signage, equipment, and supplies are in place before, during, and after events.

  • Maintain inventory, submit maintenance requests, and support operational needs

  • Perform other duties as assigned to contribute to the successful execution of events and daily operations.

 Knowledge/Skills/Abilities                                                                                                                   

  • Bachelor’s degree in event management, hospitality, or a related field is required.

  • 1-2 years of experience in event coordination, customer service, or related field is preferred.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple events simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Exceptional customer service skills with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and remain composed under pressure.

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and adaptability to new platforms.

  • Ability to take initiative, think proactively, and maintain professionalism during stressful situations.

  • ServeSafe, Crowd Manager, and AED/CPR certifications (or willingness to obtain).

In compliance with Massachusetts pay transparency law, the annual base salary range for this position is $50,000–$60,000. Endicott College considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, relevant work experience, education, specialized skills, internal equity, and external market data when extending an offer. The final salary is determined by the Human Resources Office based on these factors. This range reflects base salary only and does not include benefits or other compensation.
