What you’ll do

As an Engineer in Treasury Technology at Point72, you’ll be responsible for building best-in-class systems that help ensure Firm’s liquidity, optimize cash flows and provide transparency to Portfolio Managers utilizing real-time analytics and complex reporting.

Your focus will be on wide range of applications, spanning Margin, Financing and Counterparty management. Specifically, you will:

• Collaborate with the team to design and build features within applications relying on large sets of financial data across all asset classes (Equity, Macro) and Firm’s business areas
• Integrate with Treasury Quant libraries and APIs to deliver precise calculations to the end-users
• Engage frequently with end users to refine requirements and create effective solutions to real-world business problems
• Participate in code reviews, offering and receiving constructive feedback to drive standards. Contribute to architectural discussions and act as a team player
• Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents to ensure seamless user experience; working closely with Application Support teams to enhance system observability

What’s required

We are looking for a highly skilled software engineer with strong coding abilities and analytical skills. Core technology stack is .NET 8.0/9.0, .NET Framework 4.8+, MS SQL Server, Docker containerization, ReactJS for front-end applications.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience engineering complex applications in C#/.NET
• Previous experience working with ReactJS and Python or a willingness to learn these technologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem solving and analytical abilities.
• Personal responsibility and ability to take ownership of work.
• Commitment to the highest ethical standards.
