Position Summary

This role is responsible for driving marketing strategy and execution for the assigned product category, including product launches, pricing, and channel development. It collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment, while managing sales, budget, and overall performance to achieve business targets.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Manages marketing of assigned product category including both basic product marketing needs and tactical responsibilities.

  • Supports assigned local branch with marketing programs and promotions

  • Bridges gaps between branch and Thailand Head Office to align with Global Operations Center

  • Works with internal executives to determine annual strategic direction

  • Implements and oversees all marketing initiatives within assigned product category including launching of new products

  • Manages relationships with key internal (operations, logistics, supply chain, R&D, product allocation, etc.) and external partners (customers, trainers, agencies, third party companies, etc.)

  • Manages marketing budget and oversees all marketing spending

  • Creates and analyzes marketing strategies for local markets and evaluates price position strategies

  • Evaluates channel marketing opportunities and executes appropriate marketing plans

  • Determines appropriate partner margins

  • Performs market research on assigned product category as needed

  • Generates month-end inventory reports

  • Reviews retail/distribution channel performance and manages accordingly

  • Manages sales teams towards monthly and quarterly sales objectives and ensures strategic direction is implemented

  • Prepares presentations to key partners on all products within assigned category

  • Schedules and attends customer training meetings

  • Prepares for and attends trade shows to promote products within assigned product category

  • Sets marketing programs to shift aging inventory

  • Generates performance reports to top management

  • Other duties to be assigned as needed

Skills and Qualifications

  • Able to communicate in Lao and English language

  • Obtain Bachelor Degree in Marketing management or related fields

  • Min 5-8 years at Product Marketing

  • Background in related field from Consumer Electronics products or FMCG industry with at least 2 years with current job

  • Excellent English proficiency and computer skill

  • Must possess the ability to work in a fast paced environment while possessing a sense of urgency
