Location: Corporate Support; 109 Northpark Blvd., Covington, LA 70433

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Fleet Manager, this position will be a primary contact for employees who have company vehicles, delivery vehicles, and suppliers providing the vehicles and support services, including negotiations and problem resolution. Will be the primary contact for employees with registration and remarketing compliance needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages asset maintenance and compliance program. This includes developing and managing separate programs for different tiered assets, such as light-duty, medium to heavy duty vehicles, and material handling assets. Also includes but is not limited to monthly and annual registrations and renewals, vehicle tax compliance and reporting, DOT regulations, etc.
  • Analyzes all maintenance events that come into que for potential cost savings options with regards to approval or denials of proposed maintenance work. This includes but not limited analysis of total cost of repair compared to life-to-date spend, overall vehicle utilization, and replacement schedule.
  • Coordinates with leasing companies to maintain and report on any leased assets with regards to their overall vehicle compliance.
  • Performs data integrity audits for asset compliance.
  • Performs and audits Fair Market Value assessments and recommendations for vehicle remarketing.
  • Performs routine audits in telematics database to amend any telematics anomalies, most notably telematics non-communication.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or a minimum of 5 years business experience, preferably in customer service, finance, business, audit, transportation, logistics, and/or supply chain.
  • Lean and Six Sigma certification is preferred.
  • Experience with Geotab or Fleet telematics.
  • Experience involving company car or truck fleets is desirable.
  • Good communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, specifically MS Excel.  
  • Self-starter able to work in a team environment.
