Your Role:
The role partners closely with Facilities, Network and other teams to support AV and infrastructure designs for new office builds, relocations, troubleshooting existing installations and data center initiatives.
Under general supervision, this position is responsible for supporting Invesco projects with regards to AV design and installation. Responsibilities include oversight, coordination, and scheduling of hardware installations, tier 3 support for conferencing technologies along with designing, documenting and publishing as-built documentation for the support teams.
Your Team:
The Data Center Facilities team works in coordination with the Corporate Properties team on office projects including relocations, renovations and uplifts. DCF acts as the product owner for Technology for all Corporate Properties related projects. As Technology product owner, DCF ensures requirements for Technology and Corporate Properties are gathered solutions are presented and delivered as agreed with the project team.
What you will be doing:
Support for new office and relocation projects with AV design, bill of materials and implementation working with project team and installation and vendors
Create, update and maintain documentation, AV standards and build documentation
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, incorporating industry standards and emerging AV technologies
Manage intake and process of support and request tickets for technology hardware, meeting defined SLAs and communicating to involved parties to keep the process flowing.
Partner with Customer Experience (CX), Network and other Technology teams to assist with performance or other conferencing issues
Coordinate with the Technology teams and Corporate Properties to ensure projects stay on schedule. Laisse with the project team and the AV installation vendor to coordinate on-site installation.
Research, design and testing of new products that can be integrated into the company’s standard AV to keep technology current and relevant.
What you will bring:
Proven years of experience in AV support and design.
Experience using monitoring tools, support tracking tools like ServiceNow, project management tools (Jira/Kanban a plus)
Experience with Audio Visual products like Crestron, MS Teams, video conferencing systems and AV-Network interoperability
Effective troubleshooting skills troubleshoot and analyze AV issues remotely and provide assistance to on-site teams
Exposure to AV and conferencing support and design
Working in a hybrid environment to support both project and BAU work
Prior experience with process improvement or infrastructure standardization initiatives a plus
Self-starter with the ability to work without constant oversight
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize, execute project work, and adapt to changing requirements
Collaboration and communication skills across Facilities, IT, and business teams
