Role Description

The GFiber Cash Accountant is an exciting position and will require a motivated individual with great attention to detail. You will partner with a variety of stakeholders to support and directly contribute to the company's growth.  You are empowered to drive efficiency and improvements in our month end close and reporting processes.  

This role will be responsible for all aspects of cash accounting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

In this role, you'll:

• Maintain the general ledger by preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciling accounts and analyzing account activity including reconciliation of individual items.
• Support and implement repeatable and sustainable cash accounting processes as a result of changing business requirements and operations.
• Support the consolidated statement of cash flows process and determination of operating, investing and financing activities.
• Ensure compliance with: accounting policies, procedures and maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist in developing timely, accurate, insightful, actionable reporting and dashboards for managing cash reconciliation metrics and performance.

At a minimum we'd like you to have:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Accounting or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience in cash accounting, accounts receivable/ payables or treasury transactions.
• 3 years of experience using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
• Experience utilizing Excel or Google Sheets to manipulate and analyze data.

It's preferred if you have:

• Experience with SAP.
• CPA, CA and working knowledge of US GAAP.
• Demonstrated ability to improve processes, controls and operations.
• Experience with treasury operations. 
• Experience assisting with external audits including documentation of processes, providing data and support and performance of key controls.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $78,000 - $115,000 + bonus + cash award + benefits. As pay varies by location, your recruiter will share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
