About the Role:

  • SRE will be part of a talented team of engineers that demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering mission critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance, and security.
  • Qualified systems engineers will have a background in IT, computer systems engineering, or systems engineering and analysis.

About Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience
• BE/BTech Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience required
 

Required Skills for the Role:

  • Expertise in Linux - Experience with CoreOS; Experience with legacy on-premise environments/bare metal infrastructure
  • Advanced knowledge on Kubernetes and Networking - Understanding of Kubernetes networking, integration with existing network environment
  • Basic/Intermediate knowledge on AL4 process, VMWare, Graylog,Elastisearch, Grafana and PostgreSQL.
  • AWS Experience
  • Git
  • CI/CD (essential: deep understanding of theory and concepts, bonus: experience with GitLab and pipelines)
  • Infrastructure as Code (essential: Terraform or CloudFormation fundamentals, bonus: Serverless Framework)
  • Containerisation (essential: Docker, bonus: experience with ECS/Fargate , EKS)
  • Scripting (essential: Bash, bonus: Python)

About Responsibilities:

  • Adopt modern DevOps approaches to deployment and maintenance of infrastructure and products to reduce the time between committing a change to a system and the change being placed in production, whilst ensuring high quality.
  • Automate and improve development and release processes.
  • Support and troubleshoot any platform/infrastructure issues.
  • Work closely with the Security team to ensure that the platform is secure by design, compliant and meets all the requirements to protect customer data and ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats.
  • Working with software developers and architect to design and operate a robust, scalable, and stable architecture that can handle huge volumes of data.
  • Adhere to company policies and any other reasonable management instructions as required by and for the business.
