SUMMARY

The Distribution Sales leader EMEA manages the sale of the organization’s products and services through the distribution/retail sales channel (sales to distributors/dealers/agents or sales to retailers) in EMEA.  The leader will manage sales account managers and manage the organization’s relationship with independent representatives (non-employees), distributors, or agents; they also may carry their own sales quota.  The Distribution Sales leader is responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities from distribution partners in the assigned market/region. This leader will work closely with the entire Allegro team and distributor partners to achieve sales targets, establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts. Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, to meet partner performance objectives and partners’ expectations. Supports development, growth, processing and validating of opportunities, design-in registrations and RFQ/Quote handling for our distribution channel business.

Finally the Distribution Sales leader EMEA is pivotal to drive, develop and execute the EMEA distribution strategy in close alignment with global distribution team and EMEA Management Director. The Distribution Sales leader reports to the EMEA Management Director and is part of the EMEA management team.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to outperform sales targets and expand the customer base with distribution partners

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting distributor relationships

  • Build and maintain strong and effective organization

  • Lead the distribution sales team

  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives

  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations

  • Understand category-specific landscapes and trends, reporting on the forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts

  • Interface with general management, product management and engineering to develop and drive new products and strategies

  • Work with reporting tools (business intelligence) and run weekly reports to check against given KPI´s

  • Oversees business opportunities, Design-In/project registrations and RFQs for Allegro in Allegro´s megatrends via currently applied tools from Allegro (e.g. CRM system / Salesforce / ModelN / Phoenix / eBiz)

  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting for entire distribution channel EMEA.

  • Compile information and data related to customer and prospect interactions.

  • Monitor customer, market, and competitor activity and provide feedback to organization.

  • Work closely with the marketing function to establish successful support, channel, and partner programs.

  • Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities.

  • Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners in EMEA to develop key relationships. From time to time international travel.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field.

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data for decision-making.

  • Track record in successfully leading a sales team, demonstrated by consistently meeting or exceeding targets.

  • Ability to define and execute strategy in an international organization.

  • Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of an organization.

  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.

  • Proven ability to position products against competitors by articulating the distinctive aspects of products and services.

  • Fluent in English and German. French and/or Italian a plus.

  • Experience in the semiconductor or related industry.

  • Experience in managing distribution / channel partners and driving KPIs with them.

  • Technical background in engineering or related field is a plus.
